Callaway Ushers Out 2014 Corvette Stingray S610 Supercharged Tune

Can't wait for the new Corvette Z06 and its 6.2-liter supercharged V8 with over 625 ponies? No problem, as the aftermarket industry has you covered with Callaway releasing its S610 tuning program that promises to turn the regular 2014 Corvette Stingray into a…Z-like beast.

At the heart of the tune is the addition of a supercharger that relies on an Eaton TVS four-lobe, high-helix rotor pack, with Callaway also meddling with the exhaust system to give the LT1 V8 a peak output of 610hp at 6,400 rpm and 556 lb-ft (753Nm) of maximum torque at 4,500 rpm, up from 455hp and 460 lb-ft (624 Nm).

Callaway quotes a 0-60mph (100km/h) time of 3.4 seconds and the quarter mile in 11 seconds flat at an exit speed of 125mph (201km/h).

The S610 package also adds embroidered floor mats, door sill panels, an underhood build plaque and a bespoke key fob, while there are plenty of optional parts to further enhance the look and performance of the C7, including a coil-over suspension, carbon fiber aero bits and different wheels.

ABT Tunes to the Times and Offers 200PS Diesel Upgrade for VW T5

In the nearly two years that went by since we last talked about ABT and Volkswagen's T5, the German automaker made some updates to the van series and the tuning firm has responded with the release of a more powerful package for the diesel version.

Previously, the most potent 2.0-liter TDI developed 138hp (140PS) with ABT lifting that number to 168hp (170PS). Now, with the availability of the 177hp (180PS) diesel unit, the tuner has modified the four-cylinder engines' electronic to give it 197hp (200PS).

Naturally, all previous upgrades continue to be offered with the fastest version being the ABT-tuned 2.0-liter TSI that makes 236hp (240PS) allowing the van to sprint from standstill to 100km/h (62mph) in 9.4 seconds.

Other available parts include a subtle aero package, bigger alloy wheels and a sports exhaust system with the traditional quad pipes.

Hartman Tuning Applies its Goods on Mercedes-Benz Citan

We're not at all convinced that this specific foil wrap in a three-color combo is the best choice for the Mercedes-Benz Citan buyers, but we suppose you could skip the Ronald McDonald outerwear and focus on the other parts offered for the German model by Hartman Tuning and its Vansports' division.

These include new front grille slots, front and rear aprons, rocker panels, bigger alloy wheels available in different colors, and a sports exhaust system complete with a new tailpipe design.

If you're looking to improve performance, handling and the van's stance, Hartman's catalogue offers a 25mm lower sport suspension, a number of ECU upgrades for the Citan's engine range and a faster reacting electronic accelerator pedal-kit.

BMW M5 Monte Carlo Blue on Red HRE Rims; What Do You Say?

With a few notable exceptions (Porsche is one brand that quickly comes to mind), most automakers stay with traditional shades for their stock rims, and by that, we mean silver and from time to time, black-colored alloy wheels.

While a large majority of consumers is happy with these colors, some go the aftermarket way to add some flashiness and distinctiveness to their rides with more flamboyant options.

Take this F10-generation BMW M5 sedan for example, which was prepped by Wheel Enhancement. The Monte Carlo Blue body casts a stark contrast with HRE Performance Wheels' P101 rims in a bright red finish.

A GT2 RS-Beating Tune for Porsche 911 GT2 Owners

In the very rare case you own and aren't satisfied with the performance of your 997-generation Porsche 911 GT2, lustily looking at the more powerful 997 GT2 RS of which only 500 examples were produced, the tuning minds over at O.CT. (OK-ChipTuning) have wrapped up a new package to give your toy that extra edge.

Dubbed Club Sport or aptly CS, the tune focuses on the 3.6-liter flat-six turbocharged engine hanging over the rear axle, adding, among other things, an Akrapovic racing exhaust system complete with manifolds and sport catalysts, a new ECU, and modified intercoolers sourced from the GT2 RS.

O.CT. says the upgrades add 148hp (150PS) over the standard GT2 (523hp / 430PS) and 59hp (60PS) over the GT2 RS (612hp / 620PS), for a total output of 671hp (680PS) and peak torque of 880Nm (649 lb-ft).

According to the tuner's data, the revised GT2 CS completes the run from 0 to 200 km/h (124mph) in about 8.4 seconds (stock GT2: 11.5 sec | RS: 9.4 sec) and from 0 to 300 km/h (186mph) in about 21.3 seconds (series GT2: 33.0 sec | RS: 26.7 sec).

From 100 km/h to 200 km/h (62mph-124mph), the GT2 CS takes just 5.1 seconds (series GT2: 7.8 sec | RS: 5.9 sec) and from 100 km/h to 300 km/h (62mph to 186mph) 18 seconds, which is said to be 5 seconds faster than the RS.

Completing the tune are new Ultraleggera HLT in 19-inch lightweight alloy wheels in Dunlop SP Sport Maxx tires and an original GT2 RS rear wing with LED stoplights.

Jeep Wrangler Enjoys Some Bulgarian Pizzazz from Vilner

As a no-nonsense 4x4, the Jeep Wrangler doesn't really need to be flashy or full of comfort features, but some owners wouldn't mind some upgrades either, which brings us to this new 2014 Jeep Wrangler Sahara that was customized by Vilner.

The revisions begin with the exterior where the Bulgarian studio replaced the stock 17-inch wheels with a new set of glossy black 20-inch rims, while adding LED headlights, fog lights and rear turn signals, and chrome for the door handles, grilles, mirrors and the tank cap.

Inside is where Vilner's technicians spent most of their time giving the Wrangler's cabin a red and black two-tone look through the use of leather and Alcantara for the seating, door, steering wheel and dashboard surfaces. They also painted the metal parts of the roof in black and added chrome detailing on the doors, steering wheel and the air outlets on the dashboard.

Finishing off the build, the studio upgraded the 2.8-liter diesel engine's software lifting output from 197hp (200PS) and 460 Nm (339 lb-ft) to 257hp (261PS) and 558 Nm (412 lb-ft).
